Did you know it takes 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of maple syrup?

How can not that not make you feel more appreciation when you pour it on your pancakes? How can it not make you want to lick up every bit left on your plate?

Almost done with week 6 of training... 12 miles this morning from Holden into Brewer into Bangor and home to Hampden. Thanks Trish and friend for running the last 2 with me. When the Gatorade fails, friends will pick you up.
